The leading carrier Air India has finally unveiled its much anticipated latest collection of uniforms for all crew members. As per the details shared by the airline through an official release, it says new age inflight couture has been created by the famous Bollywood designer Manish Malhotra, who usually makes dresses for top-shot celebrities.
The whole collection of the latest uniforms collection, which features an array of colors and timeless styling, has been designed at Malhotra’s Mumbai studio.

The official says the collection was created by keeping an idea behind the rich culture of India. It will provide all the crew members including the cockpit and cabin crew complete comfort and elegance during long flights.
It has been informed that the flyers are likely to see the new uniform collection in a phased manner soon. It will be introduced with the entry of Air India’s first Airbus A350.

Malhotra also reacted to the collection. He said, “I am honored to have been given the opportunity to design the uniforms for Air India. It is a privilege to be able to contribute to the national flag-bearer and showcase the elegance and charm of Indian fashion.”
In addition, he said. “My aim was to create uniforms that capture the essence of India’s diverse culture and traditions while also embodying a modern and sophisticated look.”
