Reality TV star and dancer Mukti Mohan tied the knot with her long-term beau, actor Kunal Thakur, on December 10. Stills from her dreamy wedding went viral on the internet, and her followers are gushing over how elegant and sophisticated all her festivities looked in the pictures. While Mukti initially only shared glimpses with her family and sisters, recently she posted several pictures of the celebrity guests who arrived to celebrate the special occasion. Several prominent names were present at the event, including AR Rahman, Anu Malik, Sunidhi Chauhan, Ayushmann Khurrana, and others.
Mukti Mohan and Kunal Thakur acknowledged everyone’s presence and thanked them for making the start of this new phase in their lives more special. In the pictures, many renowned faces could be spotted. Ayushmann Khurrana, his wife Tahira Kashyap, Kapil Sharma, and his wife Ginni Chatrath also attended the functions. Among the other guests were Salman Yusuff Khan, Bharti Singh.
Mukti Mohan was dressed in a crimson and gold saree with a matching blouse while Kunal Thakur complimented her dressed in a black ethnic suit.
Mukti and Kunal dated for 3 years before getting married. In conversation with ETimes, they met as professionals while working on a film. But eventually they fell in love and decided to keep their relationship a secret until they decided to get married. Mukti stated, “There is a lot of power in not revealing our vulnerabilities. At heart we both are kids. The day we met, it was an instant connection. I wanted to keep it pure. We made sure that no one was aware of it.”
Mukti has made a name for herself by appearing on shows such as Zara Nachke Dikha 2, Comedy Circus Ka Jadoo, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7, and others. Kunal Thakur was most recently seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s hit pan-India film Animal. The role of Rashmika Mandanna’s fiancé was played by this actor.
