Women are also encouraging men to open up more, by creating a safer space for their partners to be vulnerable.”

Awasthi opines, “Not only is this particularly freeing and empowering for women, but it also allows for longer lasting relationships, as both have had a chance to explore before making a commitment. Dating is now viewed more as a tool for self-growth and self-discovery rather than a taboo.”
