Deepika Padukone paid a visit to the Tirumala temple with her sister Anisha to seek the deity's blessings ahead of Fighter's release.

Deepika Padukone is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming film Fighter with Hrithik Roshan and Anil Kapoor among others. As such, she recently visited the Tirumala temple with her younger sister Anisha Padukone to seek blessings from Lord Venkateshwara, an avatar of Lord Vishnu. Videos of the actress arriving at the temple have gone viral on social media.

For the visit, Deepika opted for a black co-ord set and completed her look with a messy bun. She kept her look simple yet chic as she visited the temple to seek blessings from the deity. The temple is often visited by Bollywood celebs, like Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor to name a few.

As for Fighter, the makers revealed earlier that the film’s new song Sher Khul Gaye will be released on Friday, December 15. The song is set to be a party anthem and Hrithik and Deepika will be seen grooving to some fun dance moves, as per the song’s teaser.

The makers had also released the film’s teaser earlier. The teaser allows one to be a part of Hrithik and Deepika’s reel world. Their character Patty and Minni take on missions and perform high-octane stunts with their aircrafts. This will be Hrithik and Deepika’s first collaboration.

Directed by Siddharth Anand and presented by Viacom18 Studios in collaboration with Marflix Pictures, the film is set to transcend boundaries with its stellar cast and gripping storyline. Expectations from the actioner are pretty high as it marks the third collaboration between Siddharth and Hrithik, who have earlier delivered blockbusters like Bang Bang (2014) and War (2019).

The film’s release date is set for January 25, 2024, on the eve of India’s Republic Day.
