The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) Entrance Test 2024 registration process is currently underway at IGNOU’s official website. The registration window began on December 12 and will conclude on December 31. The registration process has specifically opened for the B.Ed, B.Sc, and Ph.D admissions at IGNOU. Candidates can apply for these programmes online at ignou.ac.in, the university’s official website.
On January 7, 2024, the IGNOU Entrance Test will be held at various exam locations around the country. The test will last two hours for candidates in the BEd programme, 2.5 hours for BSc programme, and three hours for PhD programme, respectively.
IGNOU Entrance Test 2024: How to register
Candidates can apply for the entrance examination by following the processes outlined below.
Step 1: Go to IGNOU’s official website at ignou.ac.in.
Step 2: On the home page, select the IGNOU Entrance Test 2024 link provided.
Step 3: Applicants must click on the appropriate degree link on the new page that appears.
Step 4: Select New Registration and fill out all the necessary information.
Step 5: When finished, click the submit button.
Step 6: Sign in to your account and complete the application form.
Step 7: Pay the application fees and click the submit button.
Step 8: Download the final application form and print a physical copy for future reference.
Applicants for BEd must have completed their bachelor’s or master’s degrees in the humanities, social sciences, commerce, or sciences with at least 50 per cent marks as an overall score. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology with a specialisation in Science and Mathematics with at least 55 per cent score is required. There are no maximum age limitations for admittance into IGNOU courses.
For all degrees, the examination fee has been set at Rs 1000. The recommended method of payment is internet banking or a credit or debit card provided by Indian banks. Candidates can visit IGNOU’s official website for additional information.
