Bangladesh defeated India for the first time in 11 years on the continental stage as Shakib Al Hasan’s men beat Rohit Sharma’s side by 6 runs in the last match of Asia Cup 2023 Super 4 stage. Shubman Gill smashed 121 runs but his century went in vain as Bangladesh restricted India to a total of 259, having scored 265/8 themselves.
