Delhi to Srinagar Road Travel Will Take Just 8 Hours Soon

Srinagar is a popular tourist destination in India. Currently, the distance between Delhi and Srinagar by road is around 869 kilometers.

The travel time between Delhi and Srinagar is above 17 hours.

With the completion of the Delhi-Jammu-Srinagar highway, travellers can reach Srinagar from Delhi in just 8 hours.

The 924-meter-long Banihal-Qazigund tunnel is a part of the ongoing four-laning of the Jammu-Srinagar national highway.

The tunnel bypasses the most vulnerable stretch of Panthyal in the Ramban district.

This project includes several small and major tunnels, bridges and flyovers.

The 270-km Jammu-Srinagar national highway is the only all-weather road linking Kashmir with the rest of the country.
