Suryakumar Yadav and Co. will face South Africa in the second T20I match on Wednesday after the series opener was washed out. The Men in Blue had a dominant showing in their bilateral series where they took down Australia in a five-match T20I tour. They remained in great form as they beat the World Champions 4-1 at home. The first match of the tour in Kingsmead was abandoned due to persistent rain, which wasn’t a good sign for India as they now have one less game to play in the format as the T20I World Cup approaches. They will now be eager to bag this series with lightning speed with hopes of taking down South Africa in the second T20I.
India’s second T20I against South Africa will take place at the St George’s Oval on December 12. This is going to be the hosts’ first T20I series since their World Cup campaign in India. South Africa’s last T20I game dates back to August this year when they were whitewashed 3-0 by Australia.
