India and South Africa will play their final game of the ongoing T20I series tomorrow. The Men in Blue are currently lacking on foreign soil, trailing the series 0-1. Their first game had to be abandoned without a ball bowled due to rainfall. In their second match, India found themselves batting first after losing the toss to South Africa.
They had a poor start to the innings as both Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill departed at ducks. It was Suryakumar Yadav and Rinku Singh who rescued half for India. Rinku had the best performance for the Men in Blue, scoring 68 runs in 39 balls. He hit nine boundaries and two sixes in the game but it just wasn’t enough to win the match. South Africa were able to chase the total easily after it was reduced by DLS due to rainfall.
The final match between India and South Africa T20I series will take place at the Wanderers Stadium on December 14. South Africa were in good form in the second T20I that saw a three-wicket haul for Gerald Coetzee in the first half. During their batting Reeza Hendricks produced a 49-run knock to secure a five-wicket win for South Africa. It will be interesting to see if they can top off this win with a series victory in their game.
