Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has announced opportunities for multiple faculty positions, including Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor. Eligible and interested candidates can submit their applications online before December 29.

Professor – 22 posts

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to fill out the form, candidates must have a PhD and a Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on the point scale, where applicable) in the relevant subjects. A strong academic record is required. Alongside, candidates must have a minimum of eight years of teaching and/or research experience in an academic/research post equivalent to that of an Assistant Professor in a university, college, or recognised research institute/industry.
Application Fees
For General, OBC, and EWS category candidates, the application fee is Rs 2,000. On the other hand, SC, ST, PWD, and women candidates are exempt from any application fees.
Salary
Professor: The salary for this role falls within the range of Rs 1,44,200 to Rs 2,18,200, falling under Academic Salary Level 14.
Associate Professor: Candidates appointed as Associate Professors can expect a salary ranging from Rs 1,31,400 to Rs 2,17,100, falling under Academic Salary Level-13A.
Assistant Professor: For Assistant Professors, the salary is determined by Academic Salary Level-10, with a range from Rs 57,700 to Rs 1,82,400.
