Actor-comedian Kapil Sharma marked his 5th wedding anniversary with his wife Ginni Chatrath on Tuesday. To make the occasion special, Kapil Sharma dropped a heartwarming post on his Instagram handle. He posted a priceless picture of him and his wife, walking hand in hand alongside a hilarious caption that read, “5 saal kab nikal gye pata hi nahin chala. Aisa lagta hai jaise abhi 50 saal pehle ki baat hai Happy Anniversary Mrs. Sharma. Love and happiness always. (5 years have passed, and I didn’t even realise it. It feels like it was just a matter of 50 years ago.)”

Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath’s love story began during Ginni’s college days when Kapil was her theatre teacher. The couple’s journey led to them exchanging vows on December 12, 2018, in a traditional Punjabi ceremony held in Jalandhar, Punjab. Post their wedding, the couple hosted an extravagant reception in Mumbai to celebrate with friends and family. Presently, Kapil and Ginni are proud parents to a four-year-old daughter named Anayra and a two-year-old son named Trishaan.
Kapil Sharma started his television journey with The Great Indian Laughter Challenge (Season 3) and entered Bollywood with Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon. He also appeared in a Netflix special and acted in Nandita Das’ Zwigato. He is gearing up to feature in director Rajesh Krishnan’s comedy-drama film, The Crew, alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon. Additionally, he has an upcoming untitled project with Netflix, co-starring Sunil Grover. This will be after six years, the comedian duo will reunite for a collaboration.
