KL Rahul’s trendy look on social media has caught the attention of several cricket fans. The wicketkeeper batter is currently on a break since the end of India’s 2023 Cricket World Cup campaign at home. He will be soon featuring for the Men in Blue again in their upcoming tour of South Africa. Earlier this month, BCCI revealed that Rahul will be captain in the ODI format of the upcoming tour in the absence of Indian skipper Rohit Sharma. As of now, Rahul seems to be enjoying his break as he recently uploaded a post on his official Instagram account showcasing his trendy outfit. The cricketer can be seen sporting a white T, a pair of cargo and flat sneakers as he opens his car door while holding a Red Bull can. This sparked several reactions from Indian fans in the comments section.

The official account of RedBull India could also be spotted in the comments section. They made sure to remind the fans who would be captaining the Men in Blue in the ODIs soon and wrote, “O captain!! My captain”.

There were also reactions on X in which one fan asked the cricketer if he recovered from the heartbreak in India. He posted, “KL slaying, Hope you have recovered from heartbreak”.

Another fan recognised the humility of the star player as he wrote, “A cool and humble icon of Indian cricket team”.

KL Rahul pulled off an incredible comeback on the road to the World Cup 2023. The cricketer spent the major portion of the year at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru, recovering from his injury. KL Rahul was soon fit to play for India once again as he returned to the squad in the Asia Cup. He next led India against Australia in a three-match ODI series ahead of the World Cup which they won 2-1. In their match against the Netherlands, Rahul broke the record for the fastest World Cup century by an Indian player as he scored his ton in just 62 balls.

However, India’s brilliant run came to a shocking end against Australia in the tournament’s final in Ahmedabad. The Men in Blue missed out on the big trophy by six wickets, which broke the hearts of several million fans.
