Viral video: Monkey takes a joyful ride on Lucknow bus, prompts scared passengers to disembark.

A video capturing a monkey’s bus ride in Lucknow has gone viral, depicting a scenario where the primate boarded the bus, causing a bit of panic among passengers. The commuters, alarmed, quickly disembarked and anxiously waited for the monkey to leave, creating a chaotic scene at the bus stop.

In the viral video, the monkey can be seen perched on a man’s head, while other passengers hurriedly exited the bus to avoid contact with it. The person recording the video engaged in conversation with a man, presumably the bus conductor, seeking information about the situation. The bus conductor revealed that the monkey had boarded the bus and was reluctant to leave. Although he assured that the primate hadn’t harmed anyone, the fear instilled chaos among the commuters on the road.

Residents, troubled by the increasing aggression of monkeys, especially towards children and women, voiced their concerns. A resident from Vineet Khand in Lucknow noted, “Monkeys are becoming more aggressive by the day, with children and women as their soft targets. Several people have been bitten by the primates,” adding to the growing list of such complaints.
