Here are a few notable upcoming OTT movies and series for November 2023:
1. Aarya Season 3
Sushmita Sen returns as Aarya Sareen in the third season of this award-winning drama. New additions to the cast include actors Ila Arun and Indraneil Sengupta, who join Sushmita’s fierce character Aarya in a compelling storyline. Familiar faces like Sikandar Kher, Vikas Kumar, Maya Sarao, and Geetanjali Kulkarni will also be part of the journey.
Co-directed by Ram Madhvani, Aarya Season 3 is scheduled to premiere on November 3 on Disney+ Hotstar.
2. Scam 2003: The Telgi Story Vol II
This SonyLIV series will conclude the gripping narrative of Abdul Karim Telgi, the mastermind behind one of India’s largest scams, involving Rs 30,000 crores. Gagan Dev Riar reprises his role as the central figure in this crime drama.
Directed by Tushar Hiranandani, this compelling story continues to unfold with the release of five more episodes on November 3.
3. The Killer
David Fincher’s crime drama, adapted from a French graphic novel, stars Michael Fassbender as an assassin who finds himself on the run after a botched assignment. Alongside Fassbender, the film features Arliss Howard and Tilda Swinton.
After premiering at the Venice International Film Festival, The Killer will be available for streaming on Netflix starting on November 10.
4. Apurva
Actress Tara Sutaria makes her OTT debut in Apurva, where she portrays the titular character navigating the challenges of survival in Chambal. Directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, the film also stars Abhishek Banerjee, Dhairya Karwa, and Rajpal Yadav.
Apurva is set to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on November 15.
5. The Crown Season 6
The final season of Netflix’s The Crown begins on November 16 with four episodes. Season 6 Part 1 brings back Elizabeth Debicki as Princess Diana and Imelda Staunton as Queen Elizabeth II, continuing to explore the lives of the British royal family.
6. The Railway Men
Yash Raj Films presents its first OTT series, The Railway Men, which delves into the tragic events surrounding the Bhopal gas leak of 1984. The series stars R Madhavan, Kay Kay Menon, Babil Khan, and Divyendu, portraying characters involved in the relief efforts following the disaster.
This four-episode mini-series is directed by first-time filmmaker Shiv Rawail and will be available for streaming on Netflix starting on November 18.
7. PI Meena
Coming on November 3 on Amazon Prime Video, PI Meena features Tanya Maniktala as a troubled private investigator attempting to unravel an unsolvable mystery. Directed by Debaloy Bhattacharya, this eight-episode series also includes performances from Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Jisshu Sengupta, Vinay Pathak, and Zarina Wahab.
8. Jawan
In celebration of Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday on November 2, viewers can enjoy Jawan, one of Bollywood’s biggest blockbusters, on Netflix. The film features Vijay Sethupati and the ever-charming Shah Rukh Khan in a double role. Apart from having two female superstars, Deepika Padukone and Nayanthara, this movie also boasts of some the best cameos ever.
