A new song has been released from the much anticipated Prabhas-starrer film Salaar. The song is titled Sooreede, which features Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran. According to the reports, the song is reminding people of KGF, which was immensely loved by the audience. The new song is reportedly giving audiences KGF feels, as they are reminded of Rocking Star Yash’s memorable performance. This could also be because Salaar and KGF both have been made by the same director, Prashanth Neel. Fans are loving the lyrical video of Sooreede. The music video of the song showcases love and bond between brothers, their friendship and the affection of a mother, and the best part is that it gives the audience a glimpse at the story of the film. Ravi Basrur is the music director of Sooreede, and it is penned by Krishna Kanth.
The video and the song were released on the official YouTube channel of Hombale Films on December 13, 2023. It has gained 4.7 million views, and more than 400,000 likes on the platform till now. Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire is set to release on December 22, 2023. The cast of the film includes Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy and Ramachandra Raju. Vijay Kiragandur is producing the film, under the banner of Hombale Films. Ravi Basrur is handling the music in the film. The film is being made on a budget of Rs 400 crore. If the reports are to be believed, Prabhas is going to play a double role in the film. The censor board has given Salaar an A certificate.
