The rumours spread like wildfire when a video of Priyanka’s former co-star and close friend Ankit Gupta leaving an interview midway while citing “medical emergency” as the reason went viral on X.
Now, a source close to the actress has confirmed to News18 Showsha that the former Bigg Boss 16 contestant is unwell, but she is at home and “recovering”.
Priyanka Chahar Choudhary Not Hospitalised
The source has told us that the actress has a health issue, but there is nothing to worry about. “She is not hospitalised. She has a health issue but it is nothing major. Priyanka is home, fine and recovering. Reports claiming that she was admitted to a hospital are false. She has a medical issue but it is personal. She will speak about it as and when she likes,” the source added.

Priyanka Chahar Choudhary’s Acting Career
Priyanka Chahar Choudhary made her acting debut in the show Gathbandhan. She became a household name after she featured in the popular show Udaariyaan. After leaving the show in 2022, Priyanka participated in Salman Khan’s controversial show Bigg Boss 16 with Ankit Gupta. She emerged as the second runner-up of the show.
