Priyanka Chopra is a global star. Not only does she enjoy unparalleled stardom in India but in the USA as well. As such, the Desi girl is bound to make headlines whenever she shares something on her social media timeline. The actress is also a doting mother to Malti Marie Jonas. Even the Citadel actor’s mother Madhu Chopra has spoken recently about the same. She also shared her thoughts on being a grandmother.
Speaking with India Today, Madhu Chopra couldn’t stop herself from praising her daughter. Calling her an ‘absolute superwoman’, she expressed,
“She’s fearless and isn’t scared of anything. She’s giving her baby a lot of freedom to be her own person. And once I told her not to ever skew the word no. Explain to her, she’ll understand. Don’t just say no. That’s the one advice I have shared with her… I just enjoy having the baby (Malti Marie Chopra Jonas) in my arms, I have actually forgotten that I have kids of my own.”
Madhu Chopra’s mother also opened up about her decision to send PeeCee to boarding school,
“I wouldn’t have sent her to the boarding school. I still cry when I think about it and I still feel guilty. My fault was that I sent her to a boarding school. Not the best decision of my life.”
Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra is already in the Christmas spirit. The actress, on Tuesday, took to her Instagram Stories and revealed that she and Nick Jonas have begun prepping for Christmas. Priyanka shared a picture of the fireplace with red stocking pinned to it. The stockings varied in sizes. Besides the red socks, the fireplace also featured other decorations. Sharing the photo, Priyanka said, “Grateful.”
This will Priyanka’s fifth Christmas celebrations with her husband, Nick, and her second with daughter Malti Marie. The actress seems to have hinted that the family is going to have an intimate Christmas celebrations and possibly indoors. Last year, Priyanka celebrated Christmas in New Jersey.
On the work front, Priyanka has a few projects in the making. This includes Head of States with John Cena and Jee Le Zaraa in Bollywood with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif.
