Russian President Vladimir Putin suggested that Ukraine . He said that some 244,000 troops who were called up to fight in Ukraine are currently on the battlefield and dismissed the need for a second wave of mobilisation of reservists. Putin said 1,500 men are being recruited into the Russian army every day across the country.
