Renowned fashion designer Rohit Bal in late November was admitted to a hospital in Gurgaon in a critical state. The designer’s fans, followers and well-wishers were in an absolute state of shock when the matter of his ‘heart issues’ came to light. He had earlier endured a severe heart attack in 2010 and had been battling escalating pancreatitis.
The fact that his health condition has been deteriorating over the years worried netizens and soon social media was flooded with prayers for the 62-year-old. There was a moment of respite when the news of him getting slightly better came in.

He wrote, “Dear friends, family, and supporters, I am deeply touched by your outpouring of love and prayers during my illness. Your support has been a beacon of hope and strength, helping me on my journey to recovery.”
“As I heal, I am reminded of the resilience of our bond and our shared dreams. Our brands remain strong and I assure you the show must go on. Your faith in our vision is the driving force behind it’s continued success. Thank you for being my light in these challenging times. Let’s keep moving forward with hope and courage,” he added.
