Nani and Mrunal Thakur’s film Hi Nanna, within a week of its release, has achieved various milestones. It is receiving an impressive response in terms of box office collections and critical acclaim as well. The portrayal of the emotions between a father and her daughter in the film seems to have struck a chord with the audience. Even a few celebrities have also come out praising the film for its storyline, star casts and screenplay. The recent addition to the list of ones who have heaped praises on the film is actor Shivarajkumar.
One of the prominent stars in the South Indian film industry, Shivarajkumar could not stop gushing over Nani’s film, Hi Nanna. Highly impressed by the Shouryuv directorial, he also dropped a post on X to share his opinion about the film and wrote, “Congratulations on a very well-made film. Kudos to your performance @NameisNani Loved everything about the film, especially the way the bond between a father and daughter is established.”

He, even, spoke to the media after the screening and expressed that it is a “sensitive, emotional and very engaging film” and the last 20 minutes left him teary-eyed, making him an even bigger fan of the Natural Star. The Kannada star said that the film appealed to him more because he, himself, is a father to two daughters which is why he could relate to the subject.
Without revealing much the film was all about, the actor shared that it is always painful for parents to see their children suffering which he experienced when his eldest daughter, Nirupama was suffering from health issues after allegedly undergoing weight loss surgery.
Earlier this month, Nani reportedly visited Bengaluru as part of the promotional tour for his upcoming film Hi Nanna where he also visited Shivarajkumar’s residence. He also shared a
picture with Shivarajkumar and accompanied it with a note saying that he felt at home at the Kannada superstar’s residence. The picture features Nani sharing a warm hug with Shivanna, Sharing the photo, Nani wrote, “Felt at home shivanna. Thank you.”
