The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released a crucial notice with instructions for candidates. The recruitment is underway for 26,146 positions of GD Constable across various forces, including BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, Assam Rifles, SSF, and other security forces.
The online application process for recruitment, which started on November 24, will continue until December 31. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued a crucial notice, suggesting candidates not wait until the last day to apply online. Candidates are urged to submit their forms before the deadline to avoid issues like disconnection, access problems, or login failures caused by heavy server traffic in the final days, as per the official announcement.
The commission has underscored that the deadline for submitting applications will not be extended under any circumstances. According to the schedule, the deadline for online fee payment is January 1, 2024.

BSF: 6174 vacancies
CISF: 11025 Vacancies
CRPF: 3337 Vacancies
SSB: 635 Vacancies
ITBP: 3189 Vacancies
AR: 1490 vacancies
SSF: 296 vacancies
The recruitment process comprises the following stages: Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Medical Examination, and Document Verification.
SSC GD CONSTABLE RECRUITMENT 2024: Application Fees
The application fee for SSC GD 2024 is ₹100. Women candidates, as well as those belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation, are exempted from paying the exam fee. The fee can be paid online through UPI, net banking, cash at SBI branches, or using Visa/ Mastercard/ Maestro/ TRuPay Credit or debit cards, as per the given options.
SSC GD CONSTABLE RECRUITMENT 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates aspiring to join SSC GD Constables must have passed Matriculation or Class 10 exams from a recognized board or university. Eligibility criteria include an age range of 18 to 23 years. Candidates not meeting these requirements will be exempted from the application process.
