Unni Mukundan and filmmaker Ranjith Sankar’s next Jai Ganesha, under their production banners Unni Mukundan Films and Dreams N Beyond, will hit the theatres on April 11, 2024.
Jai Ganesh is reported to incorporate fantasy elements, with the director stating it is a challenging script that navigates between reality and imagination. Mahima Nambiar, popular for her role in RDX, features as the female lead, while the film marks the comeback of yesteryear actor Jomol.
Ashokan, Ravindra Vijay, and Hareesh Peradi will play significant roles in the film. The technical crew comprises cinematographer Chandru Selvaraj, composer Sankar Sharma, sound designer Tapas Nayak, and editor Sangeeth Prathap.
Last month, the makers unveiled the first look with a caption unveils the first look of #JaiGanesh with the tagline “Drive. Thrive. Survive. Presenting the first look of #JaiGanesh! In theatres, Summer 2024!”. Social media users have shared their thoughts, with one expressing anticipation for the story, another offering heartfelt wishes for success, and a third praising the thrilling poster.

Unni Mukundan has gained recognition for his roles in notable films like Yashoda 2, Bruce Lee, Bombay March 12, and Vikramadithyan. His recent appearance was in Malikappuram. Additionally, he has showcased his acting prowess in movies such as Khiladi, Bro Daddy, Bhramam, Gangs of 18, Masterpiece, and Avarude Raavukal, among others.
Unni Mukundan, known for his role in Malikappuram, is actively involved in various projects. Currently filming the Tamil movie Karuden directed by Durai Senthil Kumar, he shares the screen with Soori and Sasikumar. He is gearing up for the shooting of Gandharva Jr, a fantasy drama alongside Vishnu Aravind. Additionally, he has signed up for the dramedy Get-Set Baby! written by YV Rajesh and directed by Vinay Govind. Fans can also anticipate his role in the upcoming gangster thriller Marco, directed by Haneef Adeni.

Ranjith Sankar, known for films like Sunny, Ramante Edenthottam, and Pretham, recently wrote the screenplay for the film 4 Years. His noteworthy projects also include Varsham, Kamala, and Pretham 2.
