The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board have released a notification for new constable recruitment, aiming to fill 546 positions for police constables in the state. It includes 372 positions for Civil Police Constables and 174 positions for PAC (Provincial Armed Constabulary) Constables. It’s noteworthy that this recruitment falls under the sports quota, meaning skilled athletes can participate.
Of these vacancies, 350 are to be filled by male candidates whereas 190 vacancies are reserved for women. Applications for these positions must be submitted online, and the application period will start from December 14, 2023, with the deadline for application and fee submission being January 1, 2024.
