Vignesh Shivan Joins Hands With Seven Screen Studio For His Next Titled LIC

Seven Screen Studio is an Indian film production and distribution company headed by SS Lalit Kumar. Set up in Chennai, the production house was established in 2017 and the first movie produced was Sasikumar’s Asuravadham in 2018. Later, the company backed hit movies like Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Master in 2021, which featured Thalapathy Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles. They recently backed the immensely successful film, Leo, starring Thalapathy Vijay. Now, the company is set to produce yet another movie and the details of it have been revealed. Seven Screen Studio is all set to produce the movie LIC: Love Insurance Corporation, which is touted to be a romantic-comedy Tamil movie. Vignesh Shivan will be donning the director’s hat for the movie. It will also be co-produced by Vignesh himself, under the banner of Rowdy Pictures. The movie stars Pradeep Ranganathan and Krithi Shetty in the lead roles. The movie will also feature SJ Suryah and Yogi Babu.

Recently, the official page of Seven Screen Studio shared a few photos on social media regarding the puja ceremony of the upcoming movie. The caption read, “Excited to kick-start LIC- Love Insurance Corporation with the divine pooja. Grateful for this new beginning and seeking your heartfelt blessings as we dive into this cinematic adventure! Stay tuned for further updates!"

Fans and admirers have been buzzing with excitement ever since the announcement. A comment under the post read, “Sj Suryah – a mandatory player nowadays." Another user wrote, “Whoever acts, at last Anirudh (music composer) is the hero of the movie." “Congratulations Lalit Sir", read yet another comment.

As per reports, the movie was supposed to star Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role initially. An announcement was made in 2019; but due to unknown reasons, the movie was shelved. Later, in 2023, the movie was picked again, this time with Pradeep Ranganathan in the lead. In September, the movie was announced. Principal photography of the movie kickstarted in December 2023 in Chennai. Fans are looking forward to being captivated by Anirudh Ravichander’s soulful music once again.
