Thalapathy 68, the highly anticipated film in the South Indian film industry featuring Vijay in the lead role, has generated immense excitement among fans. Written and directed by Venkat Prabhu, the movie boasts an ensemble cast, including Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Jayaram, Yogi Babu, and Meenakshi Chaudhary. The renowned filmmaker Atlee was initially considered for directing the film, but due to prior commitments with actor Varun Dhawan, Venkat Prabhu stepped in as the director. Produced by Kalapathi S Aghoram under AGS Entertainments, the film features music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by Siddhartha Nuni, and editing by Venkat Raajen. Reports indicate that Vijay is expected to receive a substantial remuneration of Rs 200 crore for his role in the film.
The production team has spared no effort in ensuring the film’s success. Earlier reports revealed the team’s visit to Los Angeles for visual effects scanning, a testament to their commitment to creating a visually stunning experience. While the lead actress is yet to be officially confirmed, speculations arise that Vijay may play dual roles as a father and son in the movie, according to Times of India reports.
The shooting for the film commenced in October, with the first schedule taking place in Chennai. As the excitement builds among fans, the film promises to deliver a compelling cinematic experience, blending Vijay’s star power with the creative vision of director Venkat Prabhu.
