India Women vs England Women Live Score: India Women added 18 runs to their overnight score, losing the remaining three wickets, as their innings folded for 428 all out in 104.3 overs on the second morning of the four-day, one-off Test against England Women. This is the second-highest score achieved by the Indian Women ever, as they got past the 426/9d they set up against England at Blackpool in 1986. Starting at the overnight score of 410/7, the hosts had wanted to at least reach the psychological of 450 and make England field for at least an hour and frustrate them further. Achieving their highest-total evet of 467 they scored against England at Taunton two years back.
Earlier on Thursday, debutantes Shubha Satheesh and Jemimah Rodrigues struck maiden half-centuries as did Yastika Bhatia and Deepti Sharma as India Women made a strong start to post 410/7 in 94 overs at stumps on Day1 of the one-off four-day Test against England Women.
Shubha top-scored with 69, Jemimah was right behind with 68 in their first match and Yastika struck 66 off 88 balls in her third Test outing.
Shubha and Jemimah added 115 runs for the third wicket to rescue India from 47/2; Yastika and Harmanpreet raised 116 for the fifth wicket to propel India ahead from 190/4 and Deepti Sharma and Sneha Rana contributed 92 runs for the seventh wicket as India crossed 400 runs for the third time against England.
At stumps, Deepti Sharma was 60 not out and had Pooja Vastrakar keeping her company at 4 as India Women scored 136/2 off 27 overs in the first session, made 125/2 off 29 overs in the afternoon and added 149/3 off 38 overs.
After skipper, Harmanpreet Kaur won the toss and elected to bat first on a flat pitch that offered good bounce to both seamers and spinners, Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma struck a few boundaries but both were still in the limited-overs mode as they tried to reach out the ball on multiple occasions.

And it’s official, India won’t be enforcing the follow-on. Out walk the two openers Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Varma with India leading by 292 runs. Lauren Bell will open the attack. Here we go!
That’ll be the tea-break. We are yet to get a confirmation if India will enforce the follow-on. A stunning spell from spinner Deepti Sharma who took 5/7 in just 5.3 overs to hasten England’s collapse. Nat Sciver-Brunt was the only England batter to offer some kind of resistance as she made a solid 59 before being done in by a peach of a delivery from Sneh Rana.
OUT! Deepti Sharma gets her fifth wicket and that’s the end of England’s innings. A defensive shot from Lauren Filer and she’s beaten on the outside edge to be bowled on 5. England have been bowled out for 136 in 35.3 overs. England have failed to avoid the follow-on.
OUT! England are falling like nine pins. Stunning turnaround this for India. Kate Cross ends up hitting one back to the Deepti Sharma who takes a decent catch on follow through. Cross scored 1.
OUT! Sneh Sharma gets her second wicket as England’s batting collapse continues. Charlie Dean offers no shot to the one that turned in after pitching, hitting her on the pad. The on-field umpire gave it as out but Dean reviewed. Four reds on Hawk-eye. A nine-ball duck for the English batter.
OUT! Massive turn for Sneh Rana. After being hit for a four, Rana exacts revenge of the well-set Nat Sciver-Brunt by getting the ball to turn from well outside edge to crash onto the stumps. Sciver Brunt scored 59.
OUT! Another one bites the dust. This one turned sharply as Sophie Ecclestone went for a defensive shot only for the ball to sneak past and crash onto the stumps. A two-ball duck for Ecclestone. England in tatters.
OUT! Deepti Sharma strikes to get rid of Amy Jones on 12. Unfortunate dismissal this one – she clipped one away only to hit the helmet of the short leg fielder as the ball ricochet off for a simple catch to the fielder at leg slip. England have lost half their side.
FIFTY! With a single, Nat Sciver-Brunt brings up her half-century off 63 deliveries. A fine innings this one but she needs someone to stick around from the other end.
OUT! England lose their fourth wicket in Danielle Wyatt. Deepti Sharma draws an inside edge from the bat of Wyatt and the ball deflects off her pads towards the fielder at short leg who makes no mistake. Wyatt scored 19.
Danielle Wyatt has been given out LBW by the on-field umpire after a loud, confident appeal led by Pooja Vastrakar. The England batter quickly makes the signal for DRS and there’s a spike on Ultra-edge when the ball went past the bat. The on-field decision has been overturned.
OUT! And the partnership has been broken thanks to a direct hit from Pooja Vastrakar. Nat Sciver-Brunt set off for a quick single after playing towards midwicket from where Vastrakar unleashed a direct hit to catch Tammy Beaumont short of the crease at the striker’s end. She scored 10.
So the players are back on the field after the lunch break. Nat Sciver-Brunt and Tammy Beaumont are the two unbeaten England batters. India will open the session with the left-arm spin of Rajeshwari Gayakwad. England trail by 361 runs.

Pooja Vastrakar strikes gold as she gets the English captain Heather Knight cheaply. A fuller delivery nips back to trap Knight on the back pad as she looks to defend. Appeal from the Indians and the umpire gives it straightaway. Knight reviews but finds three reds on the ball-tracker. ENGW: 28/2, trail by 400 runs.
Renuka to Dunkley – CLEAN BOWLED!
Full length delivery, shapes back in to beat Dunkley’s defence and shatter the stumps. A stunning comeback from the Indian quick after conceding back-to-back boundaries at the start of the over. ENGW: 13/1, trail by 415
After a tight start, England seems to be picking up pace as Sophia Dunkley smashes back-to-back boundaries to Renuka Singh. ENG: 13/0 in 2.2 overs.
Beaumont and Dunkley walk out to begin England innings. Beaumont is on strike. Renuka Singh will open the attack.
Sophie Ecclestone gets Rajeshwari Gayakwad caught by Sophia Dunkley as England bowl out India for 428. For England, Lauren Bell was the pick of the bowlers, returning 3 for 67 in 19 overs.
